Welcome to St. Oliver Plunkett, this is our story, with iPad, to date.


We are a primary school in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Our pupils are aged 4-11. We are situated in an area of high socio-economic deprivation, 65%+ of our pupils are entitled to Free School Meals and over 90% are from a Neighbourhood Renewal Area. These bleak statistics are merely a reality statement they are not an anchor to the aspirations that we have for our children, in fact they are a daily starting point for us as a school community. 


We endeavour to ensure that are children are given opportunities and experiences that they may not otherwise have. We earnestly believe that the embedding of iPad in our classrooms not only enriches the learning, it allows our children to develop skills that will see them take their place with confidence in their world.


We hope that this book gives you a flavour of our school, our staff and parents but most importantly our children.
